Programme
This event is well worth attending, note: there is a charge for entering the grounds of the hall itself but entry to the event is free
Chris Norton is playing host to members of Austria Branch and has organised an evening at the Hawbridge Inn (our old venue) on the B4213 at Tirley
Branch Meet Inside
The AGM is an important event for us as it gives all of us the opportunity to discuss what we did/did not do last year and what we could possibly achieve in 2014.
As all of the current branch officers are willing to stand again for the next 12 months, no one needs to worry about being pressed ganged (we never turn volunteers down though), see you there.
This is a run organised by the Westland Motorcycle Club as a fund raiser for various charities, it will start in the Yeovil area and meander around the West country. Seven branch members have been doing this run for several years now and although it is a lot of miles (approx. 340 from Worcester and back) it is for a good cause and given good weather it is very enjoyable.
Starts from Heritage Motoe Centre, Gaydon, Branch members will be assisting to man the Club’s stand again this year
As this year sees 100th Anniversary of the start of the First World War, the Royal British Legion are organising a tribute event at Ross on Wye and we would like to support them on the day.
Meet at the Rope Walk. Note this event is on a Saturday
This is a two day event and the very brave may want to attend both of them, however as the Sunday clashes with Founders day then it might be that we attend on the Saturday (to be decided)
This event clashes with the Norton festival in Devon, it is suggested that those in the Gloucester area meet at the Oakwood to ride up together
This is a revised date following the heavy rain over the UK on the 10th, see Ian’s notes below
So come on any bike, bring your mates, its not a race, but a social run into South Herefordshire, via a scenic route. You can be home for your Sunday lunch, or continue onto the Abergavenny bike meet, or the Tewkesbury Classic vehicle show, as shown in our events schedule. The options are endless!
Once again the only thing that will stop the event is the weather, if its raining heavy we will not be going.
So keep an eye on the forecasts for this Sunday.
Keep dry and ride safe, C U Sunday?:
