Only four members of the Branch were able to attend Norton day due to commitments elsewhere by other branch members, for three of them to achieve awards was amazing

The run was led by Rick who was able to thread his way through the Coventry Maze

Fish & Chip Run 2015

Another very enjoyable evening starting from the Oakwood as a group but a large tractor and trailer soon had us all stretched out along the A38 due to the lack of overtaking points (safe ones that is)

The Fish & Chips in Tewkesbury were as good as our previous visit, a good find by Ian

Gloucester Branch Marquee & Display

Gloucester Branch Marquee & Display

Being the fourth year that Gloucester Branch have attended this event, which again is held to raise funds for the Blood Riders, we enjoyed a day of watching some very interesting machines both in the paddock and on the hill.

A big thank you to Geoff Smithers and Barry Stickland for bringing along their bikes to enable us to add some variety to our display, well done lads much appreciated.

Another vote of thanks to Colin,  Chris & Jill for getting it all set up for us, sorry we pinched your breakfast!

This year the End of Winter Show at the Three Counties Showground was later than normal due to the earlier date being booked for another event, we managed to win best stand and Mike’s Model 19 won in its category again, well done that man

Fish & Chip Run

Our Branch evening in June took us on a run to Tewkesbury for a fish and chip supper, this run was well attended by the Branch regulars apart from Chris and Jill who having no lights on their transport for the evening could not commit to riding further away from ‘The Forest’

Well done Ian for finding some of the best fish & chips in the county

The Three Counties Showground at Malvern hosts two classic bike shows each year and as this is in our territory we always support this show, even when it snows!  This October however we were blessed with a beautiful day for riding

This is the third year that Gloucester Branch have attended this event which is held to raise funds for the Blood Riders so that they can continue to operate the important service that they provide. The weather was mainly dry but a bit dull this year so not the best light conditions for taking photographs, neverthe less our branch secretary Chris S did an amazing job for us on the day.

Ably supported by 14 branch members plus two visitors (Barry & Geoff)  Chris S had organised a very varied display of machines ranging from the 1920’s to the 1970’s, however the allocated site for the club stands this year was on a slight slope which meant that some bikes had to be literally anchored in position!

We had only one member having a tilt at the Hill itself and Chris N made it look relatively easy with his very smooth riding style
